The tour takes you to the popular tourist hotspots in Shimla and Manali, two of the most sought-out travel destinations in the state of Himachal Pradesh. From Delhi, we take you to Shimla, which was the summer capital of the British during colonial rule. You can still see remains of the colonial architecture. While in Shimla, visit Kufri, known for its scenic views and adventure activities; spend time on the Mall Road and then proceed to Manali, stopping enruite to admire the natural views and temples. In Manali, explore the famous sights, enjoy scenic walks along the river, visit some hot water springs and the Rohtang Pass. Next, proceed to Amritsar to visit the Golden Temple, the most revered Sikh shrine and also enjoy the closing ceremony on the Indo-Pak border – the Wagah Border.
Day – 1 (Arrival Delhi – Shimla (390 Kms/ 9 Hours))
Upon arrival at Delhi, meet and assist by our company representative and drive to Shimla-Summer capital of India during British period. On arrival at Shimla check-in at your Hotel. Rest of the free for Individual activities. Overnight Shimla.
Day – 2 (Shimla Sightseeing)
Today after breakfast, proceed for sightseeing of Shimla, visiting Kufri, India’s one of the best holiday paradise in Shimla is beautifully tucked on an altitude of 2,622 meter. The place is a tourist hotspot for its awesome scenic and sports activities.
Evening free to stroll in the famous shopping area of Shimla town – “The Mall, Ridge and Lakkar bazar” Overnight stay at hotel.
Day – 3 (Shimla – Kullu – Manali (280 Kms/ 8 ½ hours))
After breakfast leave for Manali, on the way sight-seeing like Pandoh dam, Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu. Arrive and check in at the hotel for overnight stay at hotel in Manali.
Day – 4 (Manali – Local sightseeing)
TAfter breakfast, local sightseeing of Manali. Visit Hadimba temple, famous for its exquisitely carved doorway. The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day. Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and VASHIST known for its hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisth and to Lord Rama.
Day – 5 (Manali – Rohtang/ Solang valley)
After breakfast proceed for excursion of Rohtang/ Solang valley to enjoy various activities on direct payment.
Day – 6 (Manali – Amritsar (400 Kms/ 10 Hours))
Early morning check out from hotel and transfer by surface to Amritsar. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day – 7 (Amritsar – Local Wagah Border and sightseeing)
After Breakfast visit the Golden Temple and later visit the Jalian Wala Bagh. Evening drive to Wagah Border to witness the Closing Ceremony. Return back to Hotel and Overnight.
Day – 8 (Amritsar – Delhi (450 Kms, 10 Hours))
Early morning drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival drop at airport/ station for onward destination.
