General Information About Jaipur

Jantar Mantar

It is an observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the eighteenth century. It was built with the purpose of observing the movements of constellations and stars.

It is open from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and the entry fee is Rs. 10.00

City Palace

The place situated in the heart of the city occupies almost 1/7 of the total old city area. It has Chandra mahal, Diwan-E-Am, Diwan-E-Khas and Mubarak MAhal.

Entry time is from 9:30 am to 4:45 pm and entry fee is Rs.150.00 including entry to Jaigarh fort.

Ishwar Lat

The place built by Maharaja Ishwar Singh is famous as it offers one of the most beautiful and stunning views of the city.

Central Museum

Graceful museum was built by Prince Albert in 1876 and contains a unique collection of archaeological pieces.

Timings are from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm and the entry fee is Rs. 3.00 for Indians and Rs. 30.00 for foreigners.
